This site is set up in honor of the Ranch Boss of Rod's Ol' Rockin' R. It is a bunkhouse where the pards can still gather and share the gifts that the Lord has bestowed upon them, and carry on the tradition that Rod had so lovingly created. It is a place for us to continue with the friendships that were forged at the Rockin' R. I don't know if it will ever be the same, but I don't want it to end - nor would Rod, I am guessing. Though we all are suffering his loss, I feel strongly that I don't want to suffer the loss of all of you, also.
With the best intentions I offer this page to the pards of the Rockin' R. I don't know how to make it the same as Rod's - I've never done this before - but we can all learn together, so we can stay together.
With love, Diane
p.s. New pards are always welcome. Like Rod always said..."We'll keep the light on!"

This is a great idea!
Yipee! Between Vern and I, we finally put it together. So, I'm commenting again just to be sure.
Cheers, Mag
Diane,
Thanks for setting this up. I am still trying to come to grips with all of this. If you haven't been over yet, Cowboypoetry.com is asking for rememberances for Rod. They already have mine.
Hugs & Happy Trails,
Bit
It will be slow going, as I am new to this...so please be patient!!! We'll figure it out as we go, I guess!
Please let other pards know about this by forwarding your invitation. I don't know if I have all of the email addresses!
Diane
Thanks for setting this up Diane, I'll be dropping in from time to time. And thanks to Bit Devine, I'll mosey over to the Bar D and take a look see.
Diane, this is a great spot for the pals of the
Rockin R. There are certain legal aspects to be addressed after Rod's estate is probated. His son Michael and Judith, Rods wife are not certain as yet what can be done with the website. If a way can be found it will be kept active. Thank you for the Bunkhouse. Dogpaw
I appreciate your effort in keeping Rod's dream alive, Diane. I was a little hesitant to check this out at first - mostly because of an emptiness I felt over Rod's passing. But I'm glad I checked it out, and I've found a lot of the friendly faces here at the bunkhouse that huddled around the campfire at Rod's place. Thanks for getting this together so quickly.
I was hesitant starting it, but I didn't want to lose everyone in the process of doing nothing. John is heading this way, too. I just got an email from him. We'll just "sleep" in the bunkhouse, here, until we find out if there will be permanancy at the Rockin' R or not. It's a hard time for everyone so we'll make do. I'm so glad to see you here.
D.
Even on the other side of the world the light will be kept on..an eternal campfire burning bright. God Bless.
